Mission

JLSN is a certified non-profit Jewish organization dedicated to assisting and caring for people at risk of incarceration and their families. This specific population is often isolated from the mainstream community, and needs the specialized support that we offer.

Our mission is to provide legal, financial, emotional and spiritual assistance to these individuals and their families.

JLSN will help individuals navigate through the labyrinth of the legal court system and, if necessary, the prison system.

JLSN will refer individuals to lawyers and professionals who can best service their needs.

JLSN will help and support individuals with the overwhelming emotional burden they face.

JLSN will advocate for alternative sentencing recommendations, faith-based rehabilitation, and preventive ethics education.

JLSN will help prepare convicted individuals and their families for the unfortunate reality of a prison sentence.
